There are many ways to support people who are doing it tough right now...
You can donate money, food, clothes or small homewares, volunteer your time or become a community partner.
Through access to affordable food, clothing, homewares, and food relief referrals the shop provides vital assistance to individuals, families, teens, and retirees. As housing pressures and living costs rise, more people rely on our services to meet basic needs.
Financial donations help the Pantry & Wardrobe respond quickly to growing demand. They allow us to purchase the items most needed at any time, ensuring our shelves are stocked and ready for those who rely on them.
All donations over $2 are tax fully deductible and make an immediate, local impact. You can learn more about how to donate here and read about our other community services.
Every contribution matters, and together, we can help the Cairns community stay supported and cared for.

What is the difference between best by and used by dates?
Use by: Relates to food safety. Food should not be eaten after this date.
Best before: Relates to quality. Food can often still be legally sold and safely consumed after the best before date, provided it has been stored correctly and the packaging remains intact. Although the quality will often begin to decline.
